Issue:
When you remote desktop, you don't see the "real" desktop or "console". How do you force the MS Windows Remote Desktop to connect to the server main desktop/console?
Solution:
Use the following depending on the version of Remote Desktop and the OS installed:
mstsc /console
or
mtsc --console
or (newer below)
mstsc /admin
mstsc = ms terminal services console
