Mindwatering created a number of work-group, content management, and auditing / compliance reporting HCL (Lotus) Notes-based and HCL Domino web-based applications which Mindwatering and our Domino-based hosting clients use. The applications predominately follow the "Apple" model in that they are simple to use and perform a specific function or fulfill a particular niche. Specifically, most of these Notes apps resolve around a specific targeted need.
Most of these applications will run on Lotus Notes / Domino 7.0 or higher. They are maintained in the current release and are signed/saved in the current release.
A couple of these applications have locked versions that can be downloaded from our Free Notes Apps page. So make sure you check those out, too.

Mindwatering and/or its business partners own the rights to these applications. We typically sell them including "source" which in Notes terminology means the database design is not locked. We are happy to license by organization, site or by user.

MW uses this an application internally. We also have a clients who use a stripped-down version as a categorized feedback application. Originally, we developed the application to save us printing e-mailed received documents for filing. However, like most of our Notes apps, it has grown over time. The application now handles other forms, as well: including Inventory and Equipment Loss Report documents, and payment related forms such as staff Reimbursements (to or from the company), Service Vendor Payments, and Purchase Orders.
The application both a Notes client and web browser-based application, it can receive e-mails externally from the Internet as well as the Intranet, if desired. The application's core purpose is for the organization / filing of e-mails and digital files (attachments). The categories for the documents and reports are customizable, and the application auto-files documents whose subjects it has been set to recognize which greatly reduces staff time filing documents received into the repository in-box. In addition, confirmation/review notifications can be enabled for the mail-in filing cabinet repository so that users get an immediate response when they forward a document to the repository.
The 2.x version of the application includes its modern CSS styling of the web browser experience using the core of the Mindwatering web content management application.
Our production applications are fully functional without a hidden/locked design. We believe that all apps are most useful when they can be customized for an individual business' purposes. We also have a legacy Lotus Foundations packaged version of this application available.

The Mindwatering and
Rocking Chair Software data copier is a back-end "replicator" type application which is used for one-way (either way) data sync between Notes and relational applications. It is not replication but relational database sync with Domino using the LSX LC Connectors. It is similar to the IBM Lotus Enterprise Integrator but targeted for Notes development and administration teams who need to get data from one system to another and want core features without the higher price tag. It uses the Lotus Connectors included with Lotus Domino which include DB2, Oracle, SQL, and File System/ODBC.
The need for this application came from having multiple projects with data import/export business requirements. Basically, we wanted to stop copy-pasting of the same LSX agents over-and-over and adapting the code, and instead save ourselves time, and therefore our clients money, by bundling this application with our consulting development work for these kind of projects.
The Data Copier is a Notes-client only application. The application was originally developed for Notes/Domino R6 / 6.5 and has been updated as needed through the releases.

The Mindwatering mail file migrator is a mail database content copier whose purpose is to migrate one Notes/iNotes mail database's mail and calendar notes (documents) to another mail file. Folder structure is maintained in the migration.
It's creation coincided with the policy arrival for archiving during the releases of Domino 6 and 6.5. When Notes shops went to implement Archiving policies, they realized their users had archives already scattered locally, on network shares and on Domino servers. When they instituted the new method (be local, network, or Domino-based), inevitably some of the user's Archives would become "orphaned" when the new rule wasn't the location they were already doing. Their archives would still be accessible from Workspace or Bookmarks, but there would not be a link within the mail to the current Archive. This application was created specifically to move archived mail from the "old" archive to the "new" archive after it was auto-created by the new policy.
The application is also used for migrating mail for shared mail files (where more than one user share a "generic mailbox"), and to migrate a mail database's mail for a user who has left a company and someone else wants their mail added to their replacement mail file.

The Mindwatering Mail Crawler application is an legal / audit tool designed to crawl every Notes mail file for every Person in one or more Domino Directories and find any mail to specific people in those mail files.
The application is a Notes-client based administration tool. It is assumed to be run by an administrator on behalf of a Risk Management / Security group or corporate Legal department.
The application uses a setup profile where you specify the Domino Directories to mine (all Persons in the directory) and a list of people/e-mail addresses to compare in the Send To, Copy To, and Blind Copy To fields. When there is a match, a copy of the e-mail is placed in the Crawler application for examination.

The Mindwatering FTP client application allows for scheduled, or manual, sending or receiving of text or binary files via FTP using a watch folder on the local or remote side. The goal for this application was to create a simple way to batch FTP files under the Domino administrator's control to another system that didn't support LSX (Lotus Connectors) access.
The application uses a setup profile to specify the local (on server or network drive) server and a remote server. It uses a Java agent to fetch or send the files. Each FTP profile handles FTP'ing in one direction. To do both directions, create a second profile that goes in the opposite direction specifying the appropriate folders.
As it uses Java packages, it can also handle Microsoft-based FTP servers that require a NTLM-type authentication.

The Mindwatering Application Exporter is a Notes-based application that performs one-way exporting of documents (data notes) from one or more applications.
The application works via application profiles where each profile is a represents a target application's documents that use a specific form. In addition to the application and form, the fields to export are also included as a text list, and a yes/no selection whether to also export/detach attachments. This allows a simple but powerful way to export Notes data out of the NSF to disk..
The documents are saved as CSV where each document is a row, and each field's contents are a column in the file. The last column includes the Note ID of the document. This is used as the key to each the files that are also exported. The file-names of the attachments are preceded with the Note ID of their "parent" document.
This application can use the standard Notes log object for logging or send an e-mail reported (or both) after each run of the profiles processing agent. The agent can be run manually or on a schedule.

The Mindwatering Web Documents Transfer Companion application allows business customers to securely send and receive large files to and from the Transfer application. Uses standard Domino authentication.
This application is based on the stand-alone Mindwatering Transfer application from 1998-2000 except that it uses the CSS and DIVS of the Mindwatering Web Document Management Templates version 2008 and higher. The look of the transfer application site automatically updates from the "parent" Web Documents site.

The Mindwatering News & Registration application is a e-mail newsletter sending application that creates and sends newsletters to one or more groups/categories of individuals.
For ease use, sending of the newsletter e-mails is very similar to just writing a normal e-mail. This means that it is extremely easy to use but cannot send a web page (MIME/HTML-based e-mail). E-mails can be sent to one or multiple categories of recipients in the local registrations database within the application.

The Mindwatering Let's Encrypt LE4D Sidecar companion application was created to augment the features found in the great LE4D app from "midpoints". The midpoints application is design locked so it cannot be extended. Therefore, this application was create to automate the copy/sync of the keyring (kyr) and hash (sth) files from the "main" server (the one where the LE4D app saved the kyr and sth files), to a secondary Domino server which also needs those files. It can optionally automatically restart the Domino HTTP task on the secondary Domino server, as well.
