Task:
Create titling to add to animation.
A. Use a prebuilt Titling option:
1. Create new Project.
2. Add the final animation file.
3. In the Edit page, go to the top and click the Effects Library button.
4. In the lower left corner the Effects Library options will load under the Toolbox twistie.
5. Scroll and select Titles.
(There are titles, animated titles, lower thirds titling, and subtitles.)
6. To the right of the Titles option clicked, the various title thumbnails styles will display. Select one and drag the thumbnail right oto the timeline.
7. To change the title's duration, use the edge handle on the right to extend/reduce the time the title displays on the screen.
8. To edit/change the sample text, drag it up to the video window. Click on it, the properties will display under the Inspector, box in the upper top right area.
- The upper half of the window has the styling properties to set.
- The lower half of the window will have the text twisties. Open them and you can update the title text.
B. Use the generic Text+ option.
1. Create new Project.
2. Add the final animation file.
3. In the Edit page, go to the top and click the Effects Library button.
4. In the lower left corner the Effects Library options will load under the Toolbox twistie.
5. Scroll and select Text+.
6. Drag the Text+ icon/thumbnail right onto the timeline.
At this point you can edit the text the same way as above.
You can also drag onto the current video track with the title a background image, if desired. Alternately, the text can be over the existing video. Use the properties Inspector section to apply the desire font styling.
